Canadian Roots Collective

Experience the all-new Canadian Roots Collective, a live music performance celebrating Canada’s exceptional roots, folk, rock, and blues artists. Hosted by award-winning songwriter Conor Gains, the event brings together a world-class house band featuring musicians who have performed with legendary artists including Les Paul, Bahamas, Blue Rodeo, David Wilcox, Matthew Good, Daniel Lanois, and The Glorious Sons, alongside acclaimed guest artists Tony Dekker, Skye Wallace, and Sam Polley. Through exclusive collaborations, reimagined arrangements, and spontaneous musical moments, audiences will experience a one-of-a-kind celebration unlike anything else.

Drew Wright

Drew’s musical journey began early, starting on drums before picking up guitar and fronting a rock band by age 15. After studying production and sound engineering at the Harris Institute in Toronto, he returned to Collingwood and formed Malleus, gaining local recognition and radio play. He later placed third on Canadian Idol, touring nationally before continuing his career in collaborative band projects.

Since then, Drew has toured across Canada, opening for major acts and building a strong live performance reputation. Today, he performs regularly in Collingwood and beyond, bringing his versatile sound to acoustic sets and his rock cover band, Vaudevillain.

Monet & Christian

Monet & Christian are an acoustic folk duo who hail from Toronto, Ontario and Saint John, New Brunswick. With a background in musical theatre (Monet and Christian actually first met in theatre school), the pair consider themselves as storytellers first in their performances. Their music consists of tight harmonies and simple acoustic guitar, set to lyrics about finding your way through life.

The Guitar of Fire Trio

Prepare to be swept away by Johannes Linstead, a globally celebrated rumba flamenco virtuoso who has captivated audiences worldwide!  

Led by Johannes on stage, The Guitar of Fire Trio ignites the atmosphere alongside the soulful accordion of Jordan Abraham and the commanding guitar of Geoff Hlibka, delivering an unforgettable spectacle of Spanish guitar magic! The trio has been performing together for over 15 years.

CJ Cooper

CJ Cooper is an award-winning singer-songwriter whose dynamic performances have earned spots with major organizations including the National Bank Open, Sportsnet, TD Bank, and the CFL. She has shared stages with artists like Bif Naked, JJ Wilde, and John Muirhead, while representing Canada internationally at Sweden’s Lilla By Festivalen.

Named a Community Hero Award recipient and Guelph’s Top Local Musician, CJ continues to build momentum with her heartfelt songwriting and engaging live shows. Following the release of two acclaimed albums, she is currently unveiling new music from her highly anticipated third record.
