Hosted by Dean James, selected participants will take the stage to perform their favourite country hits backed by a live band, competing for audience votes and ultimate bragging rights. Plus, catch a special performance by last year’s winner, Selena Villa.

Dean James
No matter the stage, Dean James is known for entertaining audiences wherever they may be. He seamlessly blends the energy of new country, with the throwback country influence he was brought up on to create a sound all of his own. Dean’s fusion of genres is what makes him such an exciting up-and-comer in the country music industry. Be sure to check out his new single "With You" dropping next month on all streaming platforms.

Selena Villa
Selena Villa is a 16-year-old singer, songwriter, and musician recording in the genre of Pop. She was born and raised in the city of Toronto, and since she can remember, Selena had a passion for all things music. Starting vocal lessons at the age of seven, her drive and love for music grew each day. She sings in both English and Italian and she loves sharing her heritage with others through music. Selena is excited to share her love of music with you all.
