Both active members of Shipyard Kitchen Party, the duo blends East Coast spirit, rich harmonies, and crowd-favourite covers into a performance built for singalongs and high-energy Village vibes. John Eaton, longtime Collingwood radio personality and host of 95.1 The Peak’s Talk of the Town, has been playing in bands since he was 16. A multi-instrumentalist on guitar, bass, and mandolin, he’s a founding force behind local favourites Strange Potatoes and a driving voice in Shipyard Kitchen Party. Jason Redman has entertained audiences across Central Ontario for nearly three decades, earning comparisons to Gord Downie and Gordon Lightfoot for his expressive vocals and storytelling style. A seasoned singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist, Jason brings depth, warmth, and a deep catalogue of songs that connect with crowds of all ages. Together, they deliver a dynamic, feel-good set that keeps the energy high and the good times rolling.
