For fans of the stage, every season you can enjoy the great summer programs at Theatre Collingwood and The Georgian Theatre Festival in Meaford. If music is your thing, you'll enjoy live music throughout the area in the months of July and August and into the fall months also. Maybe it's not high culture, but the Collingwood Elvis Festival, held in July, is four days of fun that includes a giant street party, classic car parade and a heapin' helpin' of the King's greatest hits. |

All around Blue Mountain, you'll find an awesome variety of recreation and sports activities that will fuel your passion for living and fill your lungs with that fresh Georgian Bay air. The best way to get to know the Georgian Bay area is to hit the trails. A vast network of hiking trails will take you through some of the region's most scenic spots. Come fall, there are plenty of fantastic ways to really experience the foliage, like the 130 foot high Canopy Walk, or gliding through the trees on a Zip Line. A cycling tour is another great way to see the sights. And in any season horse back riding is a way to reconnect with your inner cowboy. And of course there's canoeing and kayaking, rock climbing and in the winter, snowmobiling, dogsledding, cross-country skiing. Get out there and make the day your own.
